The Prana Blitz
Infuse your body in vibrant energy with a 5 day holistic chef curated, prepared meal service.

The Blitz turns the old concept of detox on its head.
Instead of focusing on what you can't eat, embrace all the delicious and highly energizing things you can eat each day.  

We will deliver to you three meals a day of plant based, nutrient rich ingredients.  
(Plus a little surprise each day, because pleasure is medicine.)

Food is one of the best sources of energy. When we eat food that is fresh, free of preservatives and prepared clean,
​our bodies can thrive and heal.
​  

All of the foods in the Prana Blitz will be free of dairy, soy and
gluten as well as refined oils, refined grains and refined sugars. 


​You will have the option of animal or plant protein.

Breakfast 

The Chocolate Milkshake of your dreams
A superfood smoothie is one of the best ways to pack a lot of nutrients into one meal.

We will switch it up a little, but your daily smoothie will have ingredients like: raw chocolate, fresh spinach, super greens powder, almond butter, fresh ginger and turmeric, avocado, coconut oil and a touch of raw honey. (Optional for vegans.) This will be a smoothie so rich in protein, fiber and high quality fats, you will be full until lunch.

The Prana Bowl
Built around some of  the elements of  last night’s dinner, the Prana Bowl is a huge salad with roasted vegetables, leafy greens, beans or grains, nuts and seeds and other little delicious surprises.

There is good reason the concept of the "bowl" has gained so much popularity lately. The bowl is simple, humble. It's a place where the focus is on creating an easy meal with as many nutrients as possible.

Reinvision the plate

It's time we let go of the old model of meat + starch + veg on the plate. A Prana rich plate is full of vegetables with small amounts of lean protein (animal or plant; your choice) and healthy fats.

Your dinner will follow this new way of thinking, with roasted or steamed cruciferous and other vegetables, a starchy vegetable or whole grains, beans or lean animal protein and a yummy sauce made with high quality omega 3 rich fats.

Pleasure is Medicine.
For a midday energy boost, a late morning second breakfast or after dinner treat, every day we will include a petite snack to please you.
For example, a cup of fresh berries marinated in vanilla seed and rosewater with coconut whipped cream. 

Food is one of the many ways we can enhance the quality of our life energy and is a powerful tool for healing.

The Prana Blitz includes:​
  • A private FACEBOOK group where we will post daily to support you through the Blitz and allow you to build community with others, including daily posts to motivate you and connect you with other sources for a prana rich life.  
  • All recipes, so you can move forward on your own and continue to cook highly nutritious meals for yourself.

* What time of day will the meals be delivered or available for pick up?
We will deliver to your home or office between 8:30 and 9:30 am. Or you can pick up from Ramsi's Cafe on the World between those hours.  We will try to accommodate your needs if these times do not work.

*Where do you deliver?
We deliver anywhere within a 15 mile radius of 1293 Bardstown Road. Please message us at rhonakamar@me.com to inquire about delivery options if you are outside this radius. 

* How will the foods be packaged?
The meals will be packaged to make reheating convenient in a toaster or conventional oven or microwave. Everything will be labeled with ingredients and suggestions for reheating. 

* What type of diet does this meal service follow?
The Prana Blitz is designed to maximize the quantity of high quality plant foods in your daily meals. It does not follow one particular dietary theory. However, the plan is excellent for anyone following a vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, Paleo or Whole 30 (just ask us to leave off the grains and beans) or a therapeutic Elimination Diet. It is veg-centric, vibrant and clean. We will not be using soy, dairy or gluten in the meals. And any sugar used will be natural and unrefined like honey, maple syrup, coconut nectar or fruit.

*Why are there different options for vegan versus animal protein?
We believe that a vibrant, plant based, super nutrient dense diet can have room for small quantities of high quality animal protein. We believe in choice. That's why we offer the option of a completely vegan menu or a daily animal protein option. The foundation of the meals will be the same: fresh vegetables, fruits and leafy greens with smaller amounts of whole grains and legumes. 

* Who created this menu and where will the food be prepared?
The menu is created by Chef Rhona Kamar, of Ramsi's Cafe on the World.  Aside from creating dishes for the restaurant, Rhona has a holistic health coach certificate from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and is a culinary instructor at Holiwell Health. 
The food will be prepared in the commercial kitchens of Ramsi's Cafe on the World, 1293 Bardstown Road.

* How will I communicate my information for delivery or any other questions or concerns I may have?
Once you register for the Blitz, you will receive an email form from us with questions we have regarding your particular needs. You are also welcome to email us anytime with questions at rhonakamar@me.com.


SAMPLE MENU

​Breakfast:
Chocolate Milkshake of Your Dreams
Raw cacao, organic spinach, almond milk, superfood protein powder, stevia, cinnamon, vanilla, honey or agave.
 
Lunch:
Caramelized Cauliflower Bowl
Cauliflower caramelized in moroccan ras el hanout spices, roasted grapes, toasted almonds, leafy greens + preserved lemon vinaigrette. (chilled poached egg)
 
Dinner
Shiitakes + Forbidden rice
Black rice in cashew alfredo, shiitakes and tomatoes in turmeric and Marsala.
Arugula and extra virgin olive oil.
 
Treat
Berries in rosewater and vanilla with coconut whipped cream
